Project Description
Eagle model constructed from layers of laser cut plywood. The model is around 400mm wing to wing tip.
We were asked to create a physical model of this Eagle from a digital 3d scanned image. We split it up into contoured layers every 4mm which we laser cut and constructed together. The tricky areas were the beak and feet to get enough detail in so contours were taken side on.
