Project Description
We were commissioned to produce a one of a kind award for the Collaborators and their Seed Fund Awards. The brief was to produce a rustic timber plinth with 3D seed sprouting a delicate and ornate sculptural plant element. We shaped, engraved and oiled some natural timber for the base and sculpted the seed from clay before moulding and casting in cold cast bronze resin. The sculptural plant element was twisted silver/nickel jewelery wire with photo etched silver/nickel leaves soldered to the tips. A truly unique piece!
