CNC Services – What can we do?
Large scale CNC machine, cutting 8′ x 4′ sheets up to 50mm thick material. Our CNC cuts a huge range of materials including timber, acrylic also foam and cast styling model boards, and much more. We program the CNC mill to cut all manner of flat shapes as well as machine pockets into the surface with extreme accuracy, additionally it can also machine 3D relief.

Cutting services include 2D flat cutting and pocket milling coupled with a variety of cutting tools. As a result, a range of effects can be achieved. Various materials are CNC machined for a number of applications and uses.

CNC milling services include 3D routing and also relief carving coupled with extreme accuracy. 3D machining is great for a range of applications including 3D wall art and also architectural topography models. There are plenty of materials to choose from too.

Our CNC can cut to size MDF, Perspex (acrylic), plywood, hardwood, model board, also foams and much more. With so many materials and processes available, CNC machining has a wide range of uses to help with all sorts of projects. MDF cut to size
MDF cut to size and shape up to 8′ x 4′ and 30mm thick.
The standard sizes available in MDF are:Â 3mm, 6mm, 9mm, 12mm, 15mm, 18mm, 22mm, 25mm, and 30mm. It is not suitable for exterior use, however, unless it is finished in a wood primer.
Perspex cut to size
Acrylic cut to size and shape up to 8′ x 4′ (2440mm x 1220mm).
Coloured acrylics in 3mm and 5mm. White is also available in thicknesses between 3mm – 10mm, while clear is available in sheets up to 50mm thick.
We also laser cut acrylic from 0.5mm thick upwards and for thinner materials this may be a better option.
Plywood cut to size
Plywood cut to size and shape up to 8′ x 4′ (2440mm x 1220mm).
Birch plywood is the most popular plywood and is available in 3mm, 4mm, 6mm, 9mm, 12mm, 15mm, 18mm, and 25mm. Other plywoods are available including light weight poplar plywood, exterior plywood, marine grade, as well as veneered plywood.
We also laser cut plywood from 0.8mm thick upwards and for thinner materials this may be a better option.
CNC Foam
A range of low and high density foam, modelboard and also PU resins can be milled in 2d or 3d. Low density foam is used for packaging inserts while the higher density can be used for prop making or scale model making.
We use CNC cutting in our everyday model making work in order to create contoured baseboards, masters for moulding, and props, so your job is in good hands.
