Leather engraving

Leather engraving works by removing the surface layer of the fabric. The result varies between leathers depending on the process it’s been through.

We engrave leather products for example wallets and belts as well as branding samples for companies. Great for personalising gifts for birthdays and anniversaries. You provide us with the leather and your artwork and we will engrave.

We can also cut leathers up to 3mm but it is advisable to do a sample.

Our most popular use for leather engraving, we can engrave a personalised message onto a special gift for example a wallet or belt. Choose your font and layout and pop in to have it engraved while you wait, alternatively we can send a visual of the layout to ok before you post the item.

What artwork do I need?

Our laser cutting software works from vector files, preferably .ai otherwise .eps .dxf .dwg or .svg. To prepare your files for cutting:

your document size needs to be a maximum 730mm x 430mm.
Cut lines- red and 0.01mm thick.
Engrave lines- blue and 0.01mm thick.
Raster engraves- black fill.

And don’t forget to check there are no duplicated lines!!

How much does laser engraving cost?

There are no set prices for cutting just guidelines as every job is different and materials cuts at a different speed. To get an accurate quote we would need to see your artwork and decide on a material choice.
